Hassan spent 3 years as a Senior House Officer in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Pinderfields, Wakefield. He then went on to become a staff grade surgeon in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery before starting his MSc in Dental Implants.
Hassan trained in the University of Manchester where he has gained his masters degree in dental implants winning the prize of clinical presentation. He is a part time clinical lecturer in Dental Implants at the University of Manchester MSc Programme.
He is also an active member and a clinical mentor at the Association of Dental Implantology in the UK and the European Association of Osseointegration.
He has presented live-surgery demonstration, published clinical and research articles on dental implants both nationally and internationally, lectured and presented poster presentations at European and international congresses. Hassan is the Editorial director of Smile Dental Journal and is on the editorial board for the European Journal of Oral Implantology.
In addition to Hassan’s Clinical teaching fellowship at the University of Manchester, he is the head of the international section of the British Academy of Implant and Restorative Dentistry. He is actively involved in teaching dental implants nationally and internationally as can be seen on his busy lecture diary.
Hassan enjoys travelling and engaging in various local cultures.
