Trevor Hodge receives Certificate of Merit

Trevor was recently awarded a Certificate of Merit at the University of Leeds Clinical Teaching Excellence Awards 2011-2012 for his work in taking on and revamping the undergraduate orthodontic course. In his letter of award, Professor Cottrell of the University of Leeds says: "The Leeds School of Medicine, in collaboration with the Yorkshire and Humber Strategic Health Authority run an annual competition for NHS staff who excel in teaching our students. Last year, we opened the award to NHS staff who similarly provide excellent teaching to dental students”.

These awards are highly competitive and an indication of providing truly outstanding teaching for Leeds undergraduates.
