After your Invisalign treatment, retainers are absolutely key if your teeth are to stay in place, so as to ensure a permanent straight smile. Invisalign isn’t like traditional braces in many aspects, one similarity however, is that both require retainers after treatment – this is because your teeth will return to their original shape if left without retainers!
Not to worry though, as retainers will strengthen the bone to the point where they will be needed less frequently as time passes by, where perhaps you’ll only need to wear it around 3-5 times per week, so you can pick and choose the best times that suit you.
