Dr Elnaz Aliakbari

Dr Aliakbari completed her specialist training in paediatric dentistry at Leeds Dental Institute, alongside a Master’s degree from the University of Bristol and further postgraduate study in health research. She has undertaken extensive hospital-based training, including roles at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester and the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, where she completed her consultant-level training.

Her clinical work focuses on the full spectrum of paediatric dentistry, with particular expertise in managing anxious patients, children with complex medical needs, and cases involving dental trauma. She provides both inhalation sedation and advanced behavioural approaches to support children in receiving treatment in a calm and controlled environment.

Alongside clinical practice, Dr Aliakbari has a strong academic background. She has held teaching roles at both the University of Manchester and the University of Leeds, contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate education. Her research work has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals, and she has presented at national and international conferences, receiving recognition and awards from leading paediatric dental organisations.

She has been part of the Clarendons team since 2017, contributing specialist expertise to the care of referred and complex paediatric cases.
